Emigard solution

Description: An Antiemetic action with selective 5HT3 receptor antagonist.

Composition: Each 5ml contains: Ondansetron Hydrochloride IP Equivalent to Ondansetron 2mg.

Indications: Prevention of nausea and vomiting

Adverse reactions: Wound problem, drowsiness / sedation, headache, hypoxia, pyrexia, dizziness

Contra-indications: Ondansetron hydrochloride is contraindicated for patients known to have hypersensitivity to the drug

Dosage and administration: For pediatric patients 12 years of age and older, the dosage is 8mg (20ml) thrice a day. For pediatric patients 4 – 11 years of age, the dosage is one 4 mg (10ml) TID.
